I think flowers are a outdoors thing, my parents have filled the garden with gorgeous flowers and plants, so when I think of outdoors, I think of flowers. So it felt normal to combine the two.
The flowers don't look at gladiolus at all, but I do like the colour combo! The base colour is 'Pacific Blue' from Sally Hansen and the other colours are acrylic paint.
