#43 Water Marble March #4 ~ Three colour flower~

The month march is almost over, and I have two water marble tutorials left. This one and one other! At least I hope to get one other tutorial up, it really depends on if I have to work or not. But I'll try my hardest!

Normally I dip one finger in the design at a time, I find this gives me better control on the finished result on my nails. But for this tutorial I decided to dip three fingers in at one time. And guess what, I didn't film the dipping in part! :'( I was so sad when I found that out! For a while I was thinking about not uploading the tutorial, but I did anyway. Just because I think dipping more than one finger in at a time isn't really that much different than just dipping in one finger. So yeah..

But however I'm still pleased with the end result!

For this water marble I used three colours from Catrice. All from the limited edition collection 'Eve in Bloom' The darker purple/pink 'Bed of Flowers' The pastel orange 'Blossom me, Blossom you' And the pastel yellow 'Bloomynous'

If you haven't seen the tutorial yet, you can click right here!

Next time I won't forget to film all of the tutorial! ;)

March Nail Art Challenge #7 & #8 Daisies And Spring!

Work and school got in the way of doing these each on a different day. So I decided to join the two together! And it worked perfectly

For the base colour I used 'Minter Wonderland' by Catrice and the flowers are made with acrylic paints!

Next up: Match OOTD

#42 Water Marble March #3 ~Two colour Swirl~

The fourth and almost last water marble tutorial for the water marble march! I hope to upload two more tutorials on my channel to close off the month! ;)

But for today I made a swirl water marble with two pink colours. Again both from Catrice. The light pink is called 'You better think pink' and the dark pink is called 'The pinky and the brain'. Both worked perfect, they spread pretty quick in the water and don't lose their bright colour when you apply the design on your nail!

If you haven't seen the tutorial yet, you can click right here and you'll go directly to the video! :)

March Nail Art Challenge #6 St. Paddy's Day!

Happy St Paddy's day!

To be honest I don't do anything for St. Patrick's day. I heard of it but we never do anything special or something. But since it's the 6th challenge for the march nail art challenge I painted my nails green and added some shamrocks!

I used two polishes from Catrice called 'I'm not a Greenager' and 'Take it mint'. For the shamrocks I used a dark and light green acrylic paint.

Next up: Daisies!

March Nail Art Challenge #5 Flakes

I kinda rushed this nail art, I was starting to feel a little bit ill. I'm not really happy with the end result. It was the first time trying the saran wrap method and I did like the effect this method gives! I am definately going to try this method again!

Next up(I'm looking foward to this!): St. Paddy's!

March Nail Art Challenge #4 Neons

I think I have someting against monthly challenges, because I had absolutely no idea what to do for this one (again!) I think it has something to do with the fact that you have to make a specific design on a specific day. I think it kinda holds me back in my creativity? I really don't know!

Anyway... for the fourth challenge you had to use neon colours, and I'm SO stoked about neon colours, I love the way they pop on your nails, they're so 'in your face' and I like when your nails do that. You just can not miss these nails!

Next up: Flakes!

March Nail Art Challenge #3 Candies

Sooo... It sounds simple just create a nail art with candies well.. I don't know what happened but I just couldn't think of a design to make. I eventually ended up with a cute design but this took WAY TO LONG! I think I had some sort of creative block or something.. But I succeeded!

For the base colour I used  'Blossom you, Blossom me' from Catrice. And for the candies I used light/dark blue and white acrylic paint.

Next up: Neons!

March Nail Art Challenge #2 Ombre

Second challenge in the March Nail Art Challenge; Ombre nails. For the ombre I used two polishes from Catrice Crushed Crystals. A dark pink called 'Shooting Star' and a light pink called 'Call me princess' And (I almost forgot!) a bright pink for the base also from Catrice called 'You better think pink'

I did add a topcoat, so the texture of the two Crushed Crystal polishes completely disappeared but still had that amazing glitter! And lastly I added some thinestones to complete the look!

I also made a tutorial for this look, you can click right here and you'll go straight to it! ;)

Next up: Candies!

#40 Water Marble March #1 ~ Two Colour Flowers ~

The first Water marble nail art for water marble march! It has been a while since I did a water marble nail art so I had to redo some of the nails because I didn't liked the outcome to much.. Maybe water marble isn't the best thing for a über perfectionist like myself ;) But I like water marbleing to much!

#39 Water Marble March - Prepping!

Before I start the water marble tutorials, I thought it would be smart to start at the beginning ;) The prep!

I made a quick and short video on how I prepare my nails before I start with water marble. The things I use are:

1. basecoat,
2. white polish,
3. tape.

You don't have to use tape, you can also grease your fingers with vaseline to help with the clean up. How ever I prefer using tape. It dries out my fingers a little bit but thats using a little bit of handcream and the dryness is gone ;)

Again you don't have to use a white polish as a base colour, you can also use the lightest colour of the colours you are going to water marble with. For instance: if you use two colours; a bright yellow and a green polish. You can use the bright yellow polish as a base colour.
