Looking at the nails I did last year and comparing them to the ones I did today, I'm kind of in awe about the progress I've made in a year. The following picture is the candy cane nailart I posted last year in december:
I remember I just got bought better nailbrushes and was completely in love with them. And this was the first nailart I made using the nailbrushes, I was incredibly happy on the fact that now I could do some more detailed nailart! And that's the kind of nailart I like the most! :D
Today, on christmas eve I wanted to recreate this nailart, on both hands! Couple of hours later, I was finished! I'm even wearing the same snowflake ring I did last year!
I've used the same nailpolish for the base of this nailart, Magic red carpet by Essence. A magnetic red polish. The magnetic effect is subte, but still makes a total difference!
As you can see, I added a LOT more dots onto the design, I couldn't resist ;) Now it looks more like a snow effect than just some random dots like on my nailart from last year.
I didn't bother to sit down and film a tutorial for this nailart because I already did that last year. And the way I painted my nails tonight was exactly the same! If you want to know how, you can watch the tutorial I've added down below. And be amazed by my amazing film, editing and nail polishing skills!
Oh how I've improved on mah skillzz!
I want to wish you all a merry Christmas and I the upcoming days are filled with joy and family!
Merry Christmas
