#87 Half Moon Wreath

All the radio stations are playing christmas songs, stores are packed with christmas decorations, so I think it's a good time to start doing some christmas themed nailart! But then work got in the way and I wasn't able to do any nailart in about two weeks!
Today I finally had some time to paint my nails and film a tutorial. But I still don't know if I have enough time to edit and upload the tutorial and this blogpost before I go to London for four days. Yes I am going to London!

Before I started with this nailart, I was already wearing a new nailpolish I bought some weeks ago from Catrice, and the gold/copperish colour inspired me to do a festive design. This colour is absolutely amazing, it almost looks like a chrome polish. But not as 'clean' as a real chrome polish. I don't know how to explain this correctly. When you apply a chrome polish it almost has straight lines, this polish looks like the pigments 'exploded' and the lines are nowhere to be seen.

You might notice a different lighting on my pictures, the sad thing about winter is that the days are so short and the time you can make pictures in natural light is reduced to a few hours a day. And when I finished this design today, it was already getting dark and the light made my hand/nails look dull.. So I decided to try making pictures underneath my lamp on my manicure table. I use this lamp when I film my tutorials.

I love how the tumb turned out, the bow looks so cute!

The beautiful base colour is 'The GlamoureX Factor' by Catrice. the wreath and the bows are made with acrylic paints.

Have fun painting and creating

xoxo
