Recap 2014!

I had this blogpost planned to write for a while now, but never had the inspiration to start. And now the new year is getting closer and closer I can no longer procrastinate writing this..
When I scroll through my Instagram feed, I'm astounded by the progress I've made in a year! In this year, I graduated nail school and now I am slowly starting up my own salon! My youtube channel grew and since two days ago I have 300 subscribers! You can not imagine how much that means to me! To end this awesome nailyear for me, I thought sharing some highlights would be nice..

The first nailart I've uploaded on my Instagram on 2014 was my first try on Tribal nails. With a beautiful holographic copper nailpolish from Hema. This nailart blew up my feed! I still love this nailart!

Also in January I made a list of goals for myself to make my blog better and more entertaining, sadly when I look at the goals.. I have not really accomplished any... I'd set myself four goals:

1. Find a way to make better pictures. I did find a way to make 'better' pictures, but still not to my liking, going to continue this year in finding different and better ways to get the perfect picture.
2. Start to swatch/review indies. I am very sad that I did not buy any indies this year, I still do not own a single indie nailpolish. I hope I can change that this year!

3. Swatch and show my stash. I did some swatches at the start of the year, but I stopped doing those because I didn't found my lighting situation good enough to get the colour of the polish right etc.. Still planning on showing my ever growing stash!
4. Minimal of two blogposts per week. I tried this, and did post a minimum of two post for a few months. But work got in the way and I sometimes struggled to even get one post up!

When I look back at the post with the goals, I still like to attempt to accomplish them. And I have a whole new year to do that! I did change my lighting setup recently, so maybe I can start swatching again! Oh the excitement! :D

I did my first BestieTwinNails and a few months later I did my first ManiSwap.

I hope I will do more Maniswaps and BestieTwinNails, I love doing those! :D

Skipping a few months to July, this month was the month that I had my exams of my nail school and I passed! This was a huge step for me and my hobby. Which now has turned into my passion!

This year has been amazing, nailart and nails have been a big part of that, and I hope this will continue in 2015. To end this blogpost, I have made a collage of my nailart favorites of 2014.

But first I want to thank you for reading this blogpost and for liking, commenting and following me on Instagram and/or Youtube, it truly means a lot to me! I wish you a wonderfull new year and I hope 2015 will be everything you want it to be!

Have a wonderfull New Year!

xoxo
