And what is more sublte then a french manicure?! I created three french manicure looks for Kingsday. And personally I do think all three are easy to recreate.
For people who are not familiar with the Netherlands and know nothing about Kingsday I'll clarify some things. Our flag has three colours: red white and blue. And when you ask a Dutchman to name a colour for his country, he will probably immediately say orange. It's almost the national colour, why exactly? I don't know. It just is.
So that's why all three nail arts I did use all or some of these colours.
The first french requires no extra tools, if you own red, white and blue glitters and a white nailpolish you can make this nail art. I always free hand my french, but you can make a french manicure however you prefer of course!
The glitter I used were from a glitter nailpolish by L'Oréal Paris. It had no name but on the lid it says Top coat Confetti. This one I bought around Kingsday last year. And I think it was a limited edition for The Netherlands.
The next two french manicure both used the same nailpolishes. The white is Snow me white by Sinfulcolors. The red is Madison Avenue by NYC. The orange is also by NYC and is called Spring street. And finally the blue nailpolish is called Team Blue and is from Catrice.
You can easily combine the three nail arts into one and do a mix 'n match.
For all the Dutch readers I hope you have a nice Kingsday!
