#109 How I cut my nailart brushes

I totally forgot to write and post this blogpost for the video on how I cut my brushes! And since it is no longer the 1st of April, I can be serious again(like I am ever serious)

The idea for this video came to mind last year right after the 1st of April.. Too late to do it for april fools.. So I had to wait a year to finally film and post it. I'm not completely happy with how I filmed the cutting of the brush. (all out of focus sometimes) But it was really hard to keep the brush in focus!

Let's get to the actual brush cutting now!

Like I mentioned in the beginning of the video, I don't like to use expensive brushes when I am planning on using them for nailpolish. Because the nail polish remover to clean the brushes will ruin them over time.

It's really simple to do, but you have to cut away small amounts of the bristles at a time to make sure you won't cut away to much. I find the best tool to use a cuticle nipper. A small scissor is to clumsy and too big to get up close to the beginning of the bristles.

Hope you enjoyed the video
