#115 Flowers on gradient

Flowers and gradients.. You can never go wrong with that!

The tutorial for this nail art was uploaded yesterday, I always aim for uploading the video and posting the blogpost with pictures etc at the same time but I was in such a bad mood yesterday and super tired that I had no inspiration what so ever to write this blogpost.

The day started very good actually, I had a class yesterday for a new gel product. To create nails which are so natural looking, you wouldn't say that those were sculptured nails. The class was a lot of fun and the end result of these Natural White nails was mind blowing!

The pink letters say: 'Like mother nature intended it'
I had to share a model with another nail tech because my model couldn't go at the last minute.

I did the hand on the bottom, the hand on top was done by another woman.

Doesn't this look just like natural nails! She wanted a shiny topcoat but when you top this with a matte topcoat this looks even more like natural nails! I am so hiped about this product! I was a bit skeptic about this product when I first heard about it, but this is just beyond gorgeous. We finished both nails before the end of the day, so we could go home earlier, I was kinda happy about this because the weather was beautiful.

And then the horror started. I had to travel home with bus and train. Nothing going wrong with the busride. The weather was beautiful and I was happy I could be home somewhat earlier so that I could enjoy the sun. Then the trains happen.. The first train I wanted to get on was delayed, when it finally arrived at the station the train was packed full with people. So I decided to wait for the next train.

waiting.. waiting.. waiting..

The next train didn't even work and the next one after also didn't work. I waited for over an hour (in a trainstation with a strong cold wind in the shade, so cold!) when finally a train came that went where I wanted to go. Again packed with people. I felt like livestock squished toghether.
This train had to stop at four station before I got where I had to get out. At the trainstation before my stop, the train stopped and they announced that this train wouldn't go any further.. WHAT! So now all the people in this train had to get out and find another way to get home. Luckily my dad was home and he picked me up from the station. 3 hours later I got home (this trip normally takes me around 20 minutes) I was so cranky and tired!

Back to happy thoughts! The flowers on top of a beautiful blue gradient.

At least my nails looked good! ;)

It's a little bit hard to see, but I added some blue sparkle to the gradient to add a little more interest to the nails.
The gradient was done with Pillow Talk and Blindfold me blue by Rimmel London. For the white base underneath I used Snow me white by Sinfulcolors. The blue sparkles are Return of space cowboys. one of four of the million styles special effects topcoats by Catrice.
Flowers are done with white acrylic paint.

Sorry for the rant, hope you like the nail art either way!
