#108 Water Marble March 2015 #8 Blue Tips

My final water marble look for Water Marble March 2015...

Rememder my last post and how I mentioned that I didn't really liked the look of all nails covered in a water marble design and that I would never do that again? I lied...

...

Well.. Not really a big lie, more like half a lie..

Because I covered half of my nails with a water marble design! Get it half a lie? I am a genius I know, I should do something with this amazing comic talent I own..

No back to being serious and quit with the not funny jokes, how awesome does this nailart look!?

The idea for this look was a very dramatic and deep smile line french manicure. But after I was done with the water marble and had removed the tape, I didn't wanted to remove almost all of it for the sake of a dramatic smile line.. So I added some glitter and finished it off with a shiny topcoat. I think I did the right thing, don't you think?

The big hexagon glitters are gorgeous, I have multiple colours in this size lying around and never really knew how to apply them in a nailart. This look is simple, but the glitter do finish the job!

The water marble is done with two colours of NYC. The -almost- dupe of Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue: Streetstylers (click here to see what I am talking about) and Raindrop. Which was really fitting for today because it rained ALL DAY LONG. Good thing I could play in my nail room all day because of the rain ;)

I am really happy that I didn't quit on doing water marbles this month. I can tell when I look at the nailarts I did this month that I got more and more comfortable doing water marbles with every look I did. But now I have plenty of other ideas I can't wait to try out. So I'm glad it's over but then again I'm glad I didn't quit because I learned a lot.
