#105 Water Marble March 2015 #5 Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's time to turn green for one day!

Eventhough this day isn't celabrated in the Netherlands, I still like to do themed nailarts, especially because this is the only time I actually use a bold green nailpolish on all of my nails!

If you scroll through my Instagram feed, you will very rarely see a manicure with a green base colour. There are some, but not many! A green nailpolish does kind of the same to my hands what a purple nailpolish does, I already have really pale skin and a uneven skintone and when I use a green or purple basecolour my hands look so dead! Like all life got sucked out of my fingersss.. not really nice to look at... at all!

But however, I like to do themed nailarts, and we all know that St. Patrick's Day equals GREEN!! So I could not get out of doing a green nailart this time! ;)

While filming the tutorial for this look, I was inspired by @Simplynailogical to film some nailpolish bottle porn. I still am trying to figure out how to capture the effects and glitters of the nailpolish as good as I can, but it's truly a lot of fun to film things like this!

I wanted so share this short video with you guys, I love this gold glitter!

The gold accent finger is made with Champaign Rain and Two million dollar baby both by Catrice. I used the peel off base coat by OPI underneath to simplify the cleanup.

For the water marble I again used two colours by Catrice; I'm not a greenager and My yellow fellow. For the white base I used Snow me white by Sinfulcolors.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day!
