Believe me, there were times when I wanted to trow the cup of water through the room and quit the whole water marble month thingy.
Me being a extreme perfectionist, accepting the fact that water marble never EVER looks the same on your nails has always been an slightly difficult hurdle to overcome, it just won't look as good to my eyeballs as a perfect painted nailart for example.
It's getting to the point now that I will actually start to get annoyed when the drops don't spread in a perfect bullseye.... I think I need some sort of therapy...
However, I also feel somewhat relaxed when I drip a nailpolish colour on the water, when I drag a design out of te bullseye, when I am picking a spot to dip my fingers in and when I have to be extra carefull when I pull my fingers out of the water. The whole process of making the actual design that goes on your nails is surprisingly relaxing to me.
But this relaxed feeling can dissappear like snow from the sun when I look at the endresult.... yeah, I'm convinced now that I need therapy.... lots of it....
Can you tell that I had drama class for a year? It's all true, but now that I'm writing it down it all sounds so extreme and dramatic...
Let's not get too carried away with me and my crazy quirks, let's share todays water marble! The whole reason I brought this up!
Today I made it even more difficult for myself and tried a random pattern... I love the colour combo but I am 50/50 about the design...
I think the tumb turned out the best, I love that swirl!
For this marble I used three colours, all by NYC and all very fitting for spring! The darkest colour is Rooftop Party Berry the second colour (which didn't show up to good on the marble) is Spring Tulip and the lightest colour is Peach Popsicles.
