These six bottles also were one of the first to be added to my nailpolish stash when I started getting really into nailart..
Six very gorgeous colours, you can see which colours I use the most and which ones I rarely use. The green, copper and blue are my favorites of these six. The light pink is beautiful and my least favorites are the bordeaux and purple. As I said in the part 1 video, the purple is not even close to be a holographic nailpolish. I'm not sure if this is for all the purple bottles or if I just bought a dud.. But the colour itself is very beautiful though.
For part 1 I swatched the first three colours: pink, bordeaux and purple. And at the end of the video I used all three colours and created a simple, quick nailart. Just like I did for my first Swatch With Me with the Rimmel London Velvet Matte collection.
These flowers are very quick to make with a dottingtool or toothpick. The gradient gives the whole look a little more depth, but I think the flowers would still look beautiful on a single colour base.
In part two I swatched the remaining three colours: green, copper and blue.I split up the video in two parts because I thought the video would be too long otherwise and not as interesting to look.
For the second nail art I wanted to try out a vertical gradient I saw multiple times on Instagram. Where you use multiple colours and gradiate those over all your nails. It's a bit difficult for me to explain, but I think the nailart will make it clear..
Holographic or not, all of the colours are beautiful and very easy to apply. Some are not as opaque and some are a bit streaky, but both can be fixed with a extra coat.
What kind of polishes would you like to see swachted next?
