End december I got a message from Born Pretty Store asking if I would like to review some products of my choice. I never bought anything from Born Pretty before, but trust me, I've browsed the site many times! So ofcourse I said yes!
The parcel took a long time to arrive at my house, they had said it would take around 4 to 5 weeks to arrive. But when you know something awesome is coming your way you want it to arrive and arrive fast! ;)
And finally! The day had arrived! My package had come in the mail!
 | The first thing I got are these goldfish stickers. Beautiful when applied on the nails just like this, but you can also paint them! The sticky layer is -just like the name says- very sticky. For application I used a tweezer to make sure I didn't touch the sticky layer and risk decrease the adhesion to my nails. With the sticky layer being crazy sticky, you have to make sure your nailpolish base is COMPLETELY dry! I thought my base colour had dried completely, but it didn't and because of that, the edges of the sticker got a little bit wrinkled. |
Eventhough you have to make sure your nails are completely dry and you don't touch the back of the sticker, the stickers are pretty user friendly. And you can make the fish as simple looking with only the sticker itself, or you can paint the open parts of the fish.
| Second product are shell studs. I saw some nailart with similar studs on Instagram and always loved the look of the studs. Very easy to apply and the are a little bit curved so they don't stick up your nail. |  |

Third and finaly product I got are the ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO PHOTOGRAPH CORRECTLY studs... They look so beautiful in real life. A bit of a pearl shine, but also some green and blue shimmer in them. But the second I look through my camera lens, ALL those effects are GONE! POOF! Luckily the effect did got picked up a little bit when I was filming the tutorial |
Eventhough the studs are beautiful, they are a bit bulky and don't fit on the nail as nice as the shell studs do. When you apply the studs on the nails with some simple topcoat, these studs won't last a long time. But when you apply these studs with some nail glue, they stay on fine!
