This month started with a chevron aztec design inspired by @leximartone on Instagram, I used a favourite nailpolish from a swatch video from last month: Greenwich Goddess. A white crelly with black glitters from the Fancy Dotty collection from NYC. I still find this a gorgeous nailpolish!
Next I tried out a new technique with stamping plates and sheer nailpolishes, I liked the end result of the nailart, but it reminded me how much I -don't want to say hate- dislike the OPI sheer tints. They are so thick and have a honey consistency that working with them is really difficult.
Both design were beautiful in my opinion but not quite my favourites. So let's get to my favourites of the month August.
In the video where I showed three nailarts you can do without using any tools I did have a favourite though! My first favourite of this month is the double ruffian. I tought looked absolutely awesome!
My next favourite was the nailart I did for a guest post for @Loudandlavish on Instagram.
The subtle blue gradient was a beauty on it's own, but doing a simple vertical gradient as a guest post is a bit lame don't you think? ;) So I added the diamond shapes ontop with black and white acrylic paint. I even got a comment on these nails from a shop assistant when I was shopping with my mom, that was a first!
Eventhough this dotticure is very simple, sometimes simplicity can be very beautiful. And that's why this dotticure is one of my August favourites!
The water melon nails, are by FAR my favourite of this month. So glad I finished the look with a matte topcoat, now the mani looks so cartoony!
