Colour comparison: Sally Hansens Pacific Blue vs. NYC Streetstylers

I had the luck to find the old formula of Sally Hansens Pacific Blue lying under a whole bunch of other nailpolishes in a drugstore a long time ago, and at the time I did not really knew what all the fuss was about so I bought the polish to try it out for myself...
...And after swatching the polish on my nails I have to say that I completely agree with everyone, the colour is gorgeous and should never been changed!

But however they did, and now we all have to look for another gorgeous blue similar to the notorious Pacific Blue.

But there is hope! 

Today I was looking for my favorite blue polishes for a upcomping blogpost (stay tuned!) and I found this polish from NYC called 'Streetstylers' which had a similar colour in the bottle. So I got extremely curious, and tried them out side by side:

The colours are very very similar! If you didn't knew I had two different nailpolishes on my nails you'd think it was one blue colour. The pacific blue has a slight lighter tint when you apply the first coat, but when you apply the second coat the colours look super similar! Can you see the difference? I sure can't! 

The colours are so similar, I had to dubble check when I added the names of the polishes on picmonkey! 

Of course it is still so sad that they changed the formula of the notorious pacific blue, but it's nice to know that there are brands with similar colours and that softens the pain a bit :)
