Hi guys! Today's nailart is another stamping nailart featuring a stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store! A round plate with several different images on it. The plate does not really have a theme but all the images are very nice.
On the plate there are multiple images of flowers, some single and one bigger image with multiple flowers toghether. I imagine that would look really pretty for a bridal design. The plate also has two pineapple images, one a little bit larger than the other. Also very nice, but I wanted to use the tiny ducklings for my nailart today!
I used my Moyou London stamper/scraper and the black stamping polish from Konad
I used the reversed stamping method to colour in the stamping image. The name sounds like this technique is very difficult but it's actually pretty simple. All you need to do is after you picked up the image from the stamping plate, colour in the image with acrylic paint or nailpolish. Let that dry for a minute and apply a thin layer of topcoat and let that dry again.
All you are doing really is making your own nail sticker! Just be carefull not to rip the topcoat when you pull the 'sticker' of the stamper! -like I did...-
I used 878 Roll in the grass from Rimmel London for the base and the ducks are coloured in with different colours of acrylic pint.
I used acrylic paint because this dries faster than nailpolish and because I had to colour in the tiny ducks. Acrylic paint is easier in use with smaller images.
The colour combo is just perfect! The yellow on top the blue/green base, makes this nailart a very bright mani! Perfect for the grey weather we are having here!
