#159 Grumpy owl | Born pretty store stamping plate review

Hi! Today I wanted to share a nailart done using a stampingplate from the Born Pretty store. With a dry brush effect created using a fan brush.

The base is painted with 811 Stocking Nude from Sally Hansen. For the dry brush effect I used two different green tones Green up your act from Nicole by OPI and 601 Statue of Liberty from NYC. I also added a little gold sparkle with My favorite ornament from OPI 

I love this owl image, he looks SO GRUMPY! I imagine him sounding annoyed too: a annoyed 'Hoo hoo' haha!

The stamping plate (product number 18067) has multiple owl images and two cages. I am not a stamping pro, but the image picked up beautiful.
I love owls, I have multiple owl things in my room -from small statues to candle holders and more!- So I'm pretty sure I will use the other images in nailarts too!
