What a pain in the butt was this design. Well not the design itself, but the process beforehand. I had a candy corn watermarble planned, a simple chevron design with the colours yellow, orange and white, I prepped my nails and started with the water marble...
One drip of yellow nailpolish... one drip of orange nailpolish... one drip of white nailpolish...
Nothing going wrong with the dripping and I had a nice looking design.. So I dipped my finger in and pulled my finger out after cleaning up the excess nailpolish in the water... Somehow the white completely disapeared and the only colours on my fingers were a yellow and orange blended into each other.
Well great, this was not a candy corn water marble, this was just a very bright water marble. So I got my nailpolish remover and removed the failed watermarble on my nails.. I tried multiple times, with the white again, with a clear nailpolish and everytime I ended up with only two colours on my nail and everytime they were slight blended into each other.
After multiple tries I gave up on the watermarble. What to do now? I had a plan in mind, but now that has failed what to do?!
I searched for ideas on Instagram and google, and I found some inspiration! I did use a cup of water for this design, but not for a watermarble!
The yellow turned out a bit greenish on the brown base. But I kinda like them!

The brown base is 'Greige! the new beige' by Catrice and for the water spots I used 'Lexington yellow' and 'Spring street' both by NYC. And the white is 'Snow me white' by Sinfulcolors.
Have fun painting and creating
