#73 Raindrops

When I think about autumn, I think about the weather, and I think about rain! So why not make raindrops on my nails! ;)

So I did! Turned out to be a real quick and cute nail art

Before I added the clear polish drops, I used a blue holographic nailpolish to create a distressed look, and it kinda looks like water streaming down something. It does add something extra, but without the drops will look cool too!

To enhance the effect of raindrops on your nails, add a matte topcoat on your entire nail before adding the drops. When you do this, the difference between matte and glossy really makes the raindrops stand out.

Before adding the drops with a dottingtool, I let the clear polish get a little bit ticker and dry out a bit, this helps with placing them on the nail without the blob leveling out.

The blue base is 'Pool party at night' and the holographic blue on top is 'Eletrix Blue' both by Catrice.

Have fun painting and creating

xoxo
