Todays nails are the beginning of my halloween series for this year. Starting with this not so obvious spider/spiderwebs design.
From a far my nails simply looked like I painted them black, but if you looked closer the spider and spiderwebs showed up, pretty cool if you ask me! I used 017 Matte-itude from Rimmel London, a nailpolish which dries to a matte finish. But if you don't own a nailpolish that does that, you can apply a matte topcoat before you paint the details. The glossy spider and webs are done with the topcoat from Catrice.
The spider on my tumb looked -in my opinion- way better than the one on my ringfinger. The body of the spider looks more realistic. And I am in love with the contrast of the matte and shine!
