Wauw, It's almost October and I only did four nailarts this month! WHAT IS GOING ON!
However, this isn't only because I have no inspiration... I also have been extremely busy... with setting up my own salon space! That's right, I have my own salon space! I'm still working on the interior and setting up stuff that you need when you start a business for yourself. And if everything goes to plan, I'll be in business at the start of October!
Everything is so exiting and scary at the same time! But I can't wait to -hopefully- make a lot of women feel beautiful with awesome nails and healthy hands!
Back to the nailart for today, Autumn has definately started here in the Netherlands. So I thought it would be appropriate for a grey, cold autumn day!
For this dry brush effect I layerd three different nailpolishes on a light brown base. The following products were used to create this look
Havana drum - Catrice
The monkey gets funky - Catrice
Rain rain go away - Rimmel london
The glamour X factor - Catrice
Gel like+ topcoat - Catrice
The dry brush effect is very subtle but still noticable. And the gold shimmer from The glamour X factor gives this look a little more shine. -notice the single dots on the index and pinky, same colour used but not as noticable in the pictures-
Two weeks back I got to go to a beauty convention and got all new products to use for personal use and for in my -to be- salon. This made me very interested in gelpolish and making nailart with it. I've wanted to make a nailart using gelpolishes for a while now but always felt like I would want to take it off to soon because I'm used to that when I'm using regular nailpolish and I think that would be a waste of the design and work I would put into it. However, I do think I want to give designs made with gelpolish a try, but that would mean that I won't do as much nailart/videos as I would when using nailpolish. But hey, maybe I stick to using nailpolish!
Who knows! ;)
