First Impression: Essence Quick & Easy sponge nail caring oil

Last Friday I bought this little container because I was curious if it actually was a good product to use.. I asked on my Instagram if you would be interested in a review of some sort, and because I just got it and can't really tell if it's a good product in the long run, here is my first ever: First Impression!

When I was in the store and saw this product, at first I thought it was a new version of the nailpolish remover ones. But when I picked it up it it felt a bit oily around the lid and after that I noticed it wasn't filled with nailpolish remover but with cuticle oil!

Curious as I am and always looking for products to keep my nails in good condition, I decided I would give this a try and bought it. This was three days ago.

Like I said, the bottle felt a little bit oily already when I bought it. When I got home and opened it I saw why: The oil got all up in the top of the lid and the screw part of the lid and that oozed out of the bottle.

This is easy to clean up though, and if you keep the bottle upright, this should not happen again.

It's quick in use, you screw off the lid and dip in your fingers, one by one. Massage the oil in and you are done!

On the left are my nails right after I dipped my fingers in, on the right I massaged the oil into my nails and hands. My skin feels very soft after I massaged the oil in, and the smell is very nice, a mix of a baby lotion and flowers.

I did have some difficulty with dipping in my pink and thumb because most of the oil sits at the bottom you have to put your finger in all the way. And the thumb and pink are shorter, you can't get to the bottom with these fingers so these won't get as much oil on the cuticles/skin as the other nails.

Overall I am happy that I bought this product, it works fine and the oil get absorbed fairly quickly in the skin. It's quick in use but a little bit messy, but that can just simply be me ;)
