#2 Swatch with me: Hema ~ Holographics

Time for another Swatch With Me! I am aware that this collection is already for sale for a long time. But these six bottles were my first ever holographic nailpolishes and some are still one of my favorite holos!

First swatch post of the year! And gosh are these polishes pretty! Although I am a big fan of all that's sparkly, I do love me a perfect matte!

#63 Swatch + Leopard print nail art : Bleached Neons

I'm so sad about the fact that only four of the Bleached Neons collection were sold in the Netherlands, but that didn't stop me from buying the four which did get sold in the Netherlands! :D

Swatches: Catrice 'Get The Blues' & 'Berry Potter & Plumbledore'

Today I have two polishes I swatched for you. The reason I show you these two polishes at the same time is because I think they look similar but slightly different. The 'Get The Blues' is a more blue-ish oily like polish and the 'Berry Potter & Plumbledore' is a more purple oily like polish.

I have a total weak spot for polishes like these. I like polishes with more than one colour. Like holographic, chromes etc.

And I mean look at the bottles:

Sadly the camera didn't pick up all the different colour shifts of the polishes. But this was the closest I could get to the colour accuracy.

This is three coats of 'Berry Potter & Plumbledore'. When I applied the first coat I thought I would need a ton of coats, but even after the second coat the polish already looked more opaque

And this is three coats of 'Get The Blues'. On pictures it looks kinda grey-ish. But in real life it really isn't! And just like the 'Berry Potter & Plumbledore' the first coats looked like I applied absolutely nothing on my nail. But the second coats also made a big difference!

And I added some extra pictures

Have fun painting and creating,

Swatches: Fragrance nail polish

My third swatch post! I'm starting to enjoy these blogpost more and more. This time I swatched four fragranced polishes. I never owned or tried a fragranced polish and I always thought that the scent would be weird.

When these polishes dry they all give off a
different scent. I bought this in a pak of four
different polishes.

The scents from left to right: Coconut, kiwi, strawberry and pineapple

The coconut scent polish is a transparent polish. Perfect to use as a topcoat. The scent actually is very similar to a real coconut. Of all the four polishes, this was the only one I thought the smell was the most similar to the real deal.

Oh my.. The kiwi scented polish.. This one doesn't smell at all like kiwi! And I really can't  describe how it does smell. I don't like the smell but I do like the color a little. A nice green colour base for a floral nail art or something? ;)

The strawberry polish, this is a very bright pink! The scent of this one reminded me of the bubblegum I always wanted when I was a little girl. It smelled not like the real fruit but like candy. Not a let down though! I really like the scent actually and the colour is beautiful too.

The last polish of the pack: Pineapple scented polish. I never eat pineapple because I don't like the taste of the fruit. So I don't really know how a pineapple smells. BUT if a real pineapple smells like this polish does... I will never never never eat a pineapple! The smell is so nasty and fake. I do NOT like this one. And the colour.. well.. maybe it's nice in summer. But i'm not super
enthusiastic about this polish.

I didn't put a top coat over the polishes, just because I wasn't sure if the top coat would get rid of the scent of the other polish.

After swatching all the polishes I decided that I liked two of the four.(The kiwi and the strawberry) The other ones I really didn't like. One of the two almost made me nauseous. Luckely the scent wasn't too strong ;)

Swatches: Catrice Limited Edition - 'Celtica'

I did it again, I was shopping with my mom and walked past the shelf with the Catrice products. And the I saw that Catrice has a new limited edition collection: 'Celtica'

Four beautiful soft colors. Three of the four have a little sparke in the polish. With makes the colors very nice and beautiful.

I had to buy them (of course!) and in the right corner of the shelving I saw some little boxes. I wasn't sure if this was something for make-up or for nail art. So I picked it up and opened the little box. In it was a small container with 3d flakes. They looked amazing! I shoved the container back in the box and bought that too ;)

Back home I immediately wanted to swatch these b-e-a-u-ties! But I coudn't! So today, when I was back home from work I immediately started painting my nails and making pictures of them. So here they are!

A purple color, named 'Paralilac'. With some really small silver glitter flakes. Sadly those glitters don't show on the pictures I took of this polish. I really like this color, even though purple nailpolish always make my hands look even more pale and cold. This color doesn't do that so much. And the color is just classy and neat.

The second color, named 'Love, Peach&Harmony'. A salmon colored polish. Again with some glitter flakes in the polish. But gold glitters this time. I find this a beautiful polish for spring. Or for a cloudy day that needs some happiness ;)

A light purple/lilac color, named 'LOVEnder' With silver glitters. I also think this color makes my hands look pale. But either way, this is a beautiful soft color. I like it!

Last color, named 'Pinkadoxa'. And I must say. I never thougt I would wear a bright pink polish on my nails. I'm not a big fan of the color pink, never been. But this color.. wow.. just.. AMAZING. I'm converted! I'm definitely going to wear more pink colors on my nails! :D

I couldn't finish this post without showing you the beautiful nail flakes that are also of this limited collection. The Celtic nail flakes:

Look at those flakes! A pearl shine and all different shapes and sizes. I couldn't resist any longer and tried them out on my nails.

Just look at this! the pictures don't do the flakes justice, but trust me. They look stunning! I'm so happy I saw them at the last moment and decided to buy them!

Have fun painting and creating,

Swatches: Essence Superheroes collection

The Essence Superheroes polishes originally consist of six different polishes: a thermo, a sand effect, a oil effect, a liquid gold and galaxy flakes. I only bought four of the six. I didn't like the galaxy flakes that much and the sand effect was already sold out I think because I didn't saw that one in the store.

In the store the 'Oil slick effect' and the 'Holo effect' were the ones that cought my eye. They both look goregous! But the 'liquid gold' has also a beautiful shine! And the 'Thermo effect' is the first thermo I own, I'm not really happy with the colors because purple makes my hands look very white and cold. And I never really liked the color pink. But the effect this polish gives is very nice.

Two coats of Super, man!
Three thin coats of 'Wonder wow! Man!'
Two thin coats of 'Power girl'
Three coats of 'Fantastic girl' Puple when cold.
Three coats of 'Fantastic girl' Pink when hot.
