About two months ago I posted a picture on my Instagram asking for some help about getting some stamping platen from Moyou London. The responses I got were all (really) positive and I decided to order some (read 10) plates...

Nails of a friend!
Today I don't have my own nails to show you, but the nails of my friend! We hadn't seen each other for a while and today we went out for some dinner and after that I did her nails! :) We had lots of time to catch up and we did ;) We had lots of fun!
I used a gelpolish base and topcoat for this manicure to make this nail art last longer, the colours I used are 'My APPricot' by Catrice, 'Do not disturb' and 'Breakfast in bed' by Rimmel London Rita Ora Collection and 'Glamour girls' by Essence
Have fun painting and creating

#49 Chevron Glitter Placement
I was so stoked about this manicure! Until I got to the picture making..
I used three different kind of blue coloured glitters, and in 'real life' you can easily see the difference. But on pictures the difference is not visible at all! And I'm so sad about this. But I do know now if I ever wanted to do something similar again, I should use different colours and not just different shades of one colour ;) lesson learned!
I also made a tutorial on how to make these chevron glitter placement nails. And luckily in the tutorial you can see the difference, so if you want to see the tutorial, click right here, and you'll go to the tutorial!
For the base I used 'Keep pool' by Catrice.
And now some 'failed' pictures. (Still like the shine they gave off!) These pictures were actually the only ones where you could see the chevrons a little bit, all the other pictures I made were all rubbish

This may look like a lot of work. And I don't think it really is, you do have to take your time but the result is beautiful! And of course you don't have to apply glitters on all the nails, just one accent nail or something like that.
If you make something with glitters, inspired by me or not, I would love to see it! If you did, just tag me #lookdutchnailss on Instagram or post a picture on my facebookpage! :)
Have fun painting and creating,
xoxo
